The recent assassination of right-wing influencers Charlie Kirk was unjustifiable. That said, the response to his tragic death on the part of many white evangelicals has been very concerning and has lacked discernment. Some have even compared Kirk’s legacy to that of Martin Luther King, Jr. In this piece, Joel Bowman exposes the fallacy in doing so.

Very well put, Joel. I think people get afraid to say anything that is not totally positive about Kirk as other people take that to mean that we think it is ok to assassinate someone. It is not ok to kill someone, period. You express what alot of us are thinking. Thanks.Oh! One similarity is that their last names begin with K and are 4 letters long!!
